Principal and Founder of Compass Points Advisors, LLC

“Why chase a job you’d settle for when you can target the job of your dreams?”

Over the past two decades, I’ve provided career and business coaching and professional development advice to hundreds of professionals just like you, and have succeeded in guiding them towards the jobs, businesses and careers they most desire.

During the great recession a few years ago, I found that my executive search candidates in the financial services industry were turning to me for career advice and job search strategies, as they were dissatisfied with the solutions offered by others in the coaching industry. This demand led me to become certified as a Career Coach, and soon afterwards, I founded Compass Points Advisors, LLC so I could share with my clients the information and expertise I’d gained during those many years of combining recruiting and coaching skills. My executive search experience has taught me how to help my clients stand out in a highly competitive job market, and the time spent working closely with hiring managers – learning what they truly look for when deciding who will get the offer – has brought a unique perspective to my coaching practice.

I graduated from Colgate University with a degree in Economics and remain very active in the school’s Alumni Affairs Group and Career Services Center; I also currently collaborate with NYU to provide career advice to their students and alumni. I’ve been a keynote speaker and panelist at career seminars and have been quoted in a wide array of publications, spreading the word that you can absolutely be that person that gets the job offer you truly want.

In addition to being a serial advice provider and idea generator (always happy to offer my two cents!), I enjoy playing ice hockey, softball, golf, guitar and piano, and recently took my love of comedy to the next level by performing stand-up routines at New York City’s famous Gotham Comedy Club: a great way to conquer your fears!

I live in Manhattan and have a wonderful wife and three amazing children.
